At GLOBE, we want as many native speakers working with our student as possible. We have partnerships with several local organizations to bring unique opportunities to GLOBE.
Each year we partner with the Confucius Institute at Kennesaw State University to bring teaching assistants from China to work in our Mandarin classrooms.
GLOBE partners with the French Consulate to bring teaching assistants from France. The assistant teachers have completed their undergraduate degree and some are working towards a Masters degree in education.
As a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Emory University, Dr. Alena Esposito partners with GLOBE and GLOBE families to further her work in understanding how children build a knowledge base across two languages. Her undergraduate and graduate students in Psychology observe our dual-language classrooms and (with parent permission) collect data from students participating in our 50/50 model.
