GLOBE Band Program

Welcome to the GLOBE Academy Band!

GLOBE Academy's 6th and 7th grade students have the option of furthering their music education through playing woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments. This year is the band's second year as a program, and we are proud to work with over 70 students. We rehearse daily during school to prepare for concerts, community events, honor clinics, recreational performance opportunities, and field trips. We look forward to growing and developing as musicians and young students throughout this next school year.

A Note from Mr. Gay:
Greetings! This is my 3rd year at the GLOBE Academy, and I feel very fortunate to get to work with such incredible teachers and students every day. I'm a firm believer that every person is capable of being a great musician, and I consider it my highest goal to lead students to be the best musicians they can be. Music is a fantastic means for artistic expression, social connection, emotional development, academic growth, and a better understanding and compassion of oneself and others.
