Register for Summer Camp 2017

At ECP Online, you can enroll, add students, update information, view and agree to policies, and make payments for Summer Camp. 


Existing families - Click here if you have previously registered for any ECP classes.


New families - Click here if you have not previously registered or enrolled for classes at The GLOBE.


On the top bar: Click Enroll; Under Session: Click Summer 2017

Then Pick all classes you would like to enroll in:  Before Care, Language Camp, Afternoon Camp and/or Extended Care.


You will be registering for the WAITLIST.  If your name is drawn from the Lottery on February 16th, you will then be enrolled in the classes you registered for and charged a $5 registration fee per week and all other fees.




Summer Camp 2017 Details


The G.L.O.B.E. Academy Summer Camp has partnered with the National Security Agency’s StarTalk Language Program to bring you an exciting opportunity. Through a very generous grant we are able to offer this year’s language morning portion of our camp at no cost to you and a fun packed afternoon camp at a great price.


Due to the popularity of this camp, we will be having a lottery to determine eligible campers this year.


Dates: The Weeks of:  June 12-16 and June 19-23

Grades: Rising 1st- Rising 7th (Except Korean 2nd – 5th Grade)

Languages: French, Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese, Korean


Camp Hours & Rates:

Morning Language Session 9am-1:00pm ($5 registration fee)

Afternoon Camp Session: 1:00pm-5:00pm-$120/week

Before Care and Extended Care: 8am-9am; 5pm-6pm-$30 each/week

Sibling discount: 10% per additional child

Registration: ALL registrations for lottery will take place online

Families may only register each child for ONE language.


NOTICE OF CAMP ACCEPTANCE: February 16- Families of accepted students will be notified via e-mail.  


Morning Camps:

Students will develop language proficiency as they learn about the people who speak the language and the communities in which they interact in the U.S. and internationally. Students will learn about and get to know people from their target culture as they learn about them in written narratives or interact with them in person or through technology. Contextualized stories will allow students to encounter representative citizens from the target language in a variety of cultural settings in countries where the language is spoken and in cultural communities in the United States


Afternoon Camp Session 1: “Explore the Arctic Join us for a chilly week as we learn why polar bears are white, go ice fishing, paint the northern lights and even make snow! We are looking forward to a fun filled week of games, arts & crafts, experiments and FUN!!!

Afternoon Camp Session 2: “Desert Oasis” Join us for a hot week as we learn about life in the desert and explore its creatures, make our own sand, use the sun’s heat for experiments and make snake eggs! We are looking forward to a fun filled week of games, arts & crafts, experiments and FUN!!!

*Student participants for StarTalk languages (Mandarin, Portuguese, and Korean) will be videotaped for research purposes. Parents will need to sign the release form for videography.
