It's almost that time again for the first day of GLOBE! Preparations for the start of the 2017 school year have been underway for some time, but on Saturday, August 5th parent and student volunteers pitched in to finalize a few more school and teacher projects during the Back-to-School Work Day!
Parent and student volunteers brought wheelbarrows, pitchforks, and rakes to help spread mulch around the gorgeous new Climbing Dome at GLOBE'S Lower Campus, and they brought drills and other tools to assemble shelves and backpack hooks at Upper Campus. Other volunteers helped teachers with classroom projects, such as assembling bookshelves or moving furniture.
As GLOBE prepares to start it’s fifth year, we continue to be amazed by our committed volunteers. Many thanks to all who were able to help out at the Back-to-School Work Day; this work really helps the school year get off to a great start. Go GLOBE!
